Privacy policy

This policy explains what Blue Pea Marketing [LLC: confirm entity] ("Blue Pea", "we", "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. In short: we collect what you type into our forms and the basic technical details that come with every form submission. We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell your information.

What we collect

Information you give us, when you fill in one of our forms:

Strategy call request: your name, email address, phone number, business name (optional), what you need help with, and any plan or message you add.
Quote builder: the same contact details, plus the plan, marketing package and extras you chose and the prices you were shown, so we can go through your quote with you.

Information that comes with a form submission: your IP address, your browser and device type (the "user agent" your browser sends), and the date and time. We use these to stop spam and abuse.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies and analytics

Load-balancing cookies. Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, sets cookies named ARRAffinity and ARRAffinitySameSite so that your visit keeps being handled by the same server. They don't identify you, the website needs them to work, and they're deleted when you close your browser.

We don't use analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking tools, and we don't follow you across other websites. Because we don't track you, the website works the same whether or not your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

Our fonts are provided by Google Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google's use of that information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

How we use your information

To respond to your request: to email you a confirmation (with your quote, if you built one), contact you, schedule your strategy call and prepare your quote.
To protect the website and our forms from spam and abuse.
To meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We only share it:

With service providers that run this website and our business for us: our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, which stores the information in our database, and our email provider, which delivers the emails we send you. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
If our business is sold or merged, with the new owner, who must continue to protect it in line with this policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quotes: for as long as we're working with you or discussing your project, and afterwards for our business records.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).

How we protect it

Everything you send through this website is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored in an encrypted database that only Blue Pea can access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you,
correct it, or
delete it.

Email us at charlene@bluepeamarketing.com from the address you used with us, and we'll reply within 30 days. Residents of some US states have additional privacy rights under their state's law. We'll honor these requests whichever state you live in.

Children

This website is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as the client websites in our portfolio. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll let you know.
